"Acer Palmatum"

This is a young Japanese Maple that we planted in our garden a couple years ago-beautiful color year round and lovely structure. At planing time the main trunk (measured 3 inches from the ground) was about the size of the circumference my thumb.  Now, the trunk is as big around as a large tube of acrylic paint-you artists will know that size.  So much pleasure in watching the beauty of growth....
