"January 2 and 3"

A quick-sketch done in our living room on a page in my new 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" Moleskine sketchbook with a ballpoint pen.  I usually don't sketch this small unless I'm just doodling on something while talking on the phone.  I just bought this sketchbook and intend to carry it in my pocket so that I can take advantage of "free" moments in my life to capture what is before me.

This lovely Amaryllis (as red as Santa's suit!), a Christmas gift from Don and Don, is growing on our kitchen counter.  My quick-sketch done mid-day today with a ballpoint pen.

  1. I love your sketches. I can see my sketchbook staring at me. Soon I will get something in it. Oh wait, I did sketch some new ornament and doll designs today. That counts, right?

  2. Hi Wendy
    Hi Wendy
Sorry I forgot that I must check for comments and approve them. Still much to learn about computer/internet stuff.
Sketching is so convenient and can be quick if need be. I'm not creating masterpieces here, just recording what I see and capturing the moment with all hopes that my skills will improve with time.
    Yes, sketching your designs counts!
